Clinton Auto Auction is Central Illinois' premier public automobile auction. Clinton Auto Auction was established in November of 2003 by Lance & Susie Schmid and Greg & Cindy Morris. Clinton Auto Auction is central Illinois only exclusive open to the public auto auction. We pride ourselves with our exemplary customer service.

In June of 2005 Lance and Susie Schmid acquired sole ownership of the Clinton Auto Auction from the Morris family and continue to provide the same exemplary service that has made Clinton Auto Auction the # 1 choice in the central Illinois area.

Clinton Auto Auction is family owned and operated. Auctioneer Lance Schmid has over 25 years of experience in the auction profession with 20 years of experience in the automotive auction industry. He has twice placed in the top 8 of the World Auto Auction Competition.

The office is managed by his wife Susie and on sale day you will see several members of Lance & Susie's immediate family working in and around the auction. Son Logan attended the World Wide College Of Auctioneering in June of 2006 . Since then Logan has been behind the microphone on numerous occasions. Logan was crowned the 2009 IL State Auctioneer's Association Jr. Auctioneer Champion at the IL State Fair in August of 2009. Logan auctioneers at Clinton Auto Auction and helps with numerous charity auctions around central Illinois. Abbey Schmid attended World Wide College of Auctioneering in June of 2009. Abbey works as a bidder's assisstant and is seen behind the microphone from timt to time as well. Take the short drive to Clinton and enjoy our Family Owned auction business.
