Clinton Auto Auction is an open to the public auto auction. Anyone can attend and consign merchandise. Clinton Auto Auction is a consignment only auction we do not own the vehicles. Consignments are accepted from area financial institutions, dealers, individuals, lease companies, cities and municipalities. Clinton Auto Auction employees people who have had numerous years expereince in the automotive industry therefore making it a smoother transaction for both the buyer and the seller. Featured consignments at Clinton Auto Auction are drug forfeited vehicles from the Illinois State Police Assett Forfeiture Division. All of these vehicles sell at absolute auction without reserve. These vehicles are featured on our Saturday auctions.

We are able to handle license plate transfers from dealer to retail or retail to retail since we operate a fully licensed remitter's service, so you can use your old plates.

$20 Document fee on all vehicles purchased. (Dealers exempt).

$351 - $600 = $50 $6,001 - $7,000 = $135
$601 - $1,000 = $65 $7,001 - $8,000 = $140
$1,001 - $2,000 = $75 $8,001 - $9,000 = $155
$2,001 - $3,000 = $90 $9,001 - $10,000 = $175
$3,001 - $4,000 = $110 $10,000 & Above = 2%
$4,001 - $5,000 = $125
3% equipment fee on credit card purchases.

bring your vehicle to Clinton Auto Auction before noon on Wednesday or before 4:00 PM on the Friday before our regular Saturday auction and receive FREE web site advertising.
All checks are available auction day if the office receives your vehicle's title prior to the beginning of the auction.

Driving Directions

From Decatur, IL (south of Clinton):
Take Route 51 North, Turn right at the first stoplight onto Business 51 North, in 1/4 mile take the first road right, and in 1/8 of a mile you will see the Clinton Auto Auction on the right hand side of the road.
From Bloomington, IL (north of Clinton):
Take Route 51 South to Clinton, go around Clinton and make a left at the third stoplight onto Business 51 North, in 1/4 mile take the first road right, and in 1/8 of a mile you will see the Clinton Auto Auction on the right hand side of the road.
From Springfield, IL (west of Clinton): Take I-55 to exit 100 (RT 54. Clinton). Take Rt. 54 all the way to Clinton. At stoplight turn right on Rt. 51. At next stoplight (Bus. 51) turn left. Turn right on Revere Rd. We are the 3rd bldg. on righthand side of the road.
From Champaign, IL (East of Clinton): Take I-74 to Farmer City. Exit onto Rt. 54 (Clinton exit). Take 54 into Clinton. At first stoplight (IGA & Speedlube) turn left. Take Madison St. straight into our parking lot.
