1.  When are your auctions?

    Our auctions are every 1st, 3rd and 5th (if there is one) Saturday's of the month. Auctions start at 10am unless there is an earlier start time   specified. We open at 7:30am on sale day.

 

1a. What are you business hours?

Weekday hours are 9am to 4:30pm Monday thru Friday except the 2nd and 4th Fridays our hours are 9am to Noon.

 

1b. Are you open to the public?

Yes we are. We are downstate Illinois's only Open to the public auto auction...

 

2. What kind of vehicles do you sell?

    We sell all types from cars, trucks, boats, semis, campers, etc.

 

3. Do you offer online bidding?

    We do not we are a live auction and you must be present to bid.

 

3a. Does it cost to attend?

    If you have never been to the auction there is a one time $5 registration fee. If you are a return customer there is no fee.

 

4. What happens when I am the winning bidder of a vehicle?

When you are the winning bidder of a vehicle you must pay $200 (cash) and sign a buyers agreement with auction clerk. That fee will go towards the purchase of vehicle. You then need to come inside and finish your vehilce transaction. After that is completed you can return to auction lane to bid on more vieicles.

 

5. What age do you have to be to attend an auction?

Must be at least 15 with a valid state issued photo ID to enter auction lot. 

 

6. Do the vehicles have a warranty?

All vehicles are sold (AS IS) with no warranty expressed or implied. 

 

7. What forms of payment do you accept?

Cash or Credit/Debit card (4% fee) charged by card company.

 

8. Can we test drive the vehicles? 

Vehicles may not be test driven at all. You may start car, look under hood, move forward/backward, use code reader.

 

9. If I am interested in an ISP Siezed vehicle can I start it?

ISP siezed vehicles CANNOT be started before running thru auction. They will be started approximately 5 to 10 minutes prior to being driven thru the auction lane.

 

10. No backpacks, bags, or oversize purses are allowed on the back lot of the auction.

 

11. What is a Mechanics Special ?

Occasionally we sell vehicles that are non-running. These are labeled as "Mechanics Specials".  A Mechanics Special vehicle is a vehicle that may have no key, engine issues, bad trans, no brakes etc.

 

12. Do you offer Licence plates? 

Yes you are required to do Tax, Title and Plates the day of the sale. You can do Tax and Title only. If you choose this option you have to wait 4 to 12 weeks to get your title back from the State so you can get your plate from the DMV.

 

13. Do you have an ATM on site?

Yes we do, 

 

14. How do I sell a vehicle at the auction? 

You need to have a clear title in your name. if you have regiistered here before the fee is $25, if not the you will need to 1st pay a $5 registration fee along with the $25 for the vehicle. You can bring in vehicles anytime during the week  between the hours of   0900 -1600 M-F and until 9;30 am on sale days.

 

15. What is the starting bid on a car?

Starting bids depend on many varibles including type of vehicle, crowd, auctioneer, etc.. , Minimum bid is usually around $400..
